properties of the hybrid of block-pulse functions and lagrange polynomials based on the legendre-gauss-type points are investigated and utilized to define the composite interpolation operator as an extension of the well-known legendre interpolation operator. the uniqueness and interpolating properties are discussed and the corresponding differentiation matrix is also introduced. the applicabili...

hybrid of rationalized haar functions are developed to approximate the solution of the differential equations. the properties of hybrid functions which are the combinations of block-pulse functions and rationalized haar functions are first presented. these properties together with the newton-cotes nodes are then utilized to reduce the differential equations to the solution of algebraic equation...

this article proposes a direct method for solving three types of integral equations with time delay. by using operational matrix of integration, integral equations can be reduced to a linear lower triangular system which can be directly solved by forward substitution. numerical examples shows that the proposed scheme have a suitable degree of accuracy.

recently, the block-pulse functions (bpfs) are used in solving electromagnetic scattering problem, which are modeled as linear fredholm integral equations (fies) of the second kind. but the theoretical aspect of this method has not fully investigated yet. in this article, in addition to presenting a new approach for solving fie of the second kind, the theory of both methods is investigated as a...

in this paper, an effective numerical method is introduced for the treatment of nonlinear two-dimensional volterra-fredholm integro-differential equations. here, we use the so-called two-dimensional block-pulse functions.first, the two-dimensional block-pulse operational matrix of integration and differentiation has been presented. then, by using this matrices, the nonlinear two-dimensional vol...

In this paper, a suitable numerical method based on block pulse functions is introduced to approximate the Wiener integrals which the exact solution of them is not exist or it may be so hard to find their exact solutions. Furthermore, the error analysis of this method is given. Some numerical examples are provided which show that the approximation method has a good degree of accuracy. The main ...
